By train
Blackpool is well connected to the national railway network.

Superfast 'Pendolino' trains connect at Preston with four services an hour giving a speedy service to Blackpool North.

An hourly services connects the Blackpool South station to Colne again stopping at Preston.

By car
Blackpool enjoys the distinction of having a motorway link direct to the heart of the resort. The M55 is Blackpool’s purpose built link into the UK motorway network, and heads to Blackpool from Junction 32 of the M6.

By plane

Blackpool International Airport is situated only 2.5 miles from the town centre and has a new terminal building, capable of handling 350,000 passengers per year.

The terminal is well served by local and national bus connections and Squires Gate Railway Station is a short walk away.

Scheduled services include flights from Dublin, the Isle of Man, Malaga, Murcia, Alicante, Palma and Belfast,Tenerife South and Faro.
